Project Albania is a registered nonprofit organization with an all-volunteer staff that aims to contribute to Albania’s social development by providing fundraising efforts, advisory services and capacity building for local charities and nonprofit organizations. It seeks to help communities facing demonstrable hardship, while improving ties between Albanians abroad and their home country.

With the help and support of our friends and donors, Project Albania has successfully completed its first project, the Flood Relief Fund, created to raise money for flood victims in northern Albania. We raised a total of $ 7733.85, 100% of which was transferred to the Red Cross in Albania. We invite you to stay tuned for our newsletter, which will include information on the flood situation and how the funds are being spent, coming Feb 2011!
